A Ford est\u00e1 j\u00e1 a trabalhar tamb\u00e9m para essa p\u00e1gina da hist\u00f3ria com o lan\u00e7amento deste produto em coopera\u00e7\u00e3o com a empresa californiana SunPower. Esta empresa fabrica pain\u00e9is solares de alta efici\u00eancia e coopera por sua vez com o Instituto de Tecnologia da Georgia, que desenvolveu um inovador concentrador de luz.<\/p>\n<h3>Para que serve um concentrador de luz?<\/h3>\n<p>Como teremos possibilidade de ver no v\u00eddeo demonstrativo, todos os dias a superf\u00edcie do planeta terra \u00e9 atingido por cento e setenta e quatro petawatts de energia solar \u2013 o equivalente \u00e0 energia de quase 200 milh\u00f5es de Barragens do Alqueva. No entanto, n\u00f3s aproveitamos apenas uma frac\u00e7\u00e3o desta fonte de energia limpa e \u201clivre\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-315628\" src=\"http:\/\/pplware.sapo.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/pplware_ford_c_max_solar_energi03.jpg\" alt=\"pplware_ford_c_max_solar_energi03\" width=\"700\" height=\"416\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Os pain\u00e9is s\u00f3 por si n\u00e3o t\u00eam a capacidade de recarregar a 100% as baterias do carro, mas, estando debaixo de uma estrutura denominada de concentrador de luz. O aproveitamento do sol seria sempre muito maior, pois este concentrador n\u00e3o \u00e9 mais que uma lente que concentra toda a luz captada para os pain\u00e9is do ve\u00edculo e que se mexe, ou mexe o ve\u00edculo, \u00e0 medida que o sol se mexe.
